About The Wellness Center


The Wellness Center is a full service gym, with guidance tailored to your needs. Our director provides you with a full assessment, taking your medical history, limitations and exercise goals in mind. A program is created just for you with periodic reassessments as your needs change.

The gym is closed during classes such as Yoga, Pilates & Toning, Let’s Dance, and Healing Dance. You are free to use the gym during Circuit Training, Express classes and MilesStrong. To make an appointment, contact the Wellness Center: 337-984-1920

Wellness Programs

Nutrition Classes - quarterly classes offering research-based nutrition information and cooking demonstrations focused on the impact of diet on cancer diagnosis.

Nutrition 365 - monthly whole food education for cancer prevention -topics such as healthy fats, food additives, plant protein, and more.

Wellness Packet - a packet for clients who are unable to come to our wellness center with recipes, nutrition education, exercise band and an exercise card.

Healthy Survivorship - guest speakers discuss ways to live a better quality of life after diagnosis, including life during and after treatment, and preventing a recurrence.
Massage - with a physician’s release make an appointment to receive a massage from a local licensed massage therapist.
